About The Steadings, at The Grouse & Trout

The Steadings at the Grouse & Trout is located in a rural setting in the Scottish highlands. With its stone walls and beamed ceilings, it boasts a truly rustic style amongst the beautiful landscape of the Upper Strathnairn. The hotel has nine guest rooms and some have amazing views of the hills behind the hotel. Every room has wireless Internet access. The hotel offers free on-site parking and car rental, but the most popular appeal is the view.  It is located off the beaten path and amidst the mountains of South Loch Ness. The Grouse & Trout Restaurant serves Scottish and international cuisine, with a decent wine selection. There is also an on-site lounge bar with a varied selection of Scottish beers and lagers. Loch Ness, with its infamous "beastie", is eight miles west of The Steadings at the Grouse & Trout, and Inverness is a 20-minute drive.
