    Located in the beautiful Scottish country side, this bed and breakfast is a 30 minute drive from Inverness Airport, and boasts a lovely garden with views of hills of Strathnairn. The tranquil guest rooms at Farr Mains include a shower, while guests will be able to enjoy the small seating area to relax with a good book. Pets at this bed and breakfast are welcome. This historic building dates back to the 1850’s when it formed part of the Mill owners cottage, while an extra portion was built by the present owners parents during the 1930's. A full hot and cold breakfast is served every morning at Farr Mains, while after dinner drinks can be ordered at the bar during the afternoon and evening. Inverness and North Kessock are both within a fifteen minute drive from this accommodation, while Strathnairn is 20 a minute drive in a Northerly direction.

    A wonderful welcome

    For some guests who had travelled for quite a distance, the warm welcome upon arrival is something they say they will never forget. Before they knew it, there was a tray with tea on offer, while freshly baked cookies followed immediately afterwards.
