Positive Reviews

Close to the Beach.

Many guests find that the hotel’s proximity to the beach is its biggest asset, as there is no need to worry about packing up the car or trying to find public transport to spend the day there – it’s literally just steps away.

Basic, but a Good Price.

The rooms are not overly indulgent with regard to furnishings, but guests get what they’re expecting for the price of the room. It certainly helps that there’s a very nice pool area that doesn’t have a curfew and the convenience of having a restaurant on-site is an extra bonus.

Friendly Staff Members.

The hotel is very well-run and provides a welcoming atmosphere. Staff members at the Mediterráneo are exceptionally friendly, attentive to guest needs and are even open to arranging early check-ins if necessary.

Negative Reviews

No Ventilation.

The rooms don’t come standard with air-conditioning units, so things can get hot and stuffy in the summertime if the windows are not opened. Air-conditioning units can be reserved, but there are a limited number of them and short-term guests have said that they tend to end up be reserved by longer-term guests.

A Little Noisy.

Some guests have mentioned that due to its location, street and pool noise during both the day and night is common, making it tough to sleep or relax. This can easily be fixed by keeping a pair of earplugs handy.

Somewhat Dated.

While clean and tidy, many guest feel that the hotel furnishings overall tend to feel a little old and in need of updating given the hotel’s exterior and its surroundings. This doesn’t affect the comfort of the rooms or their functionality but does give them a bit of a run-down feeling.
