Positive Reviews

Excellent value for money

This was typically the first thing guests commented on in their reviews. They all mentioned that the room rates here were very reasonable, even for student-type accommodation. The standard of accommodation was described as pretty good, so almost all felt they received excellent value for money.

Pretty convenient location

Guests really seemed to like the location of the residence. It seems that many were headed for the nearby Fiona Stanley Hospital to visit patients or receive treatment. Other guests with happier reasons for their stay reported that it was relatively straightforward to get to the attractions of Fremantle, either by car or public transport.

Staff had a terrific attitude

Guests were clearly impressed with the quality of the staff employed at the property. While they were said to be helpful and efficient, what most seemed to impress was their general upbeat attitude.

Negative Reviews

Could be a bit cleaner

While the complaints were not typically very serious, a number of guests mentioned that the cleaning of their room prior to check-in had been a bit slapdash. The feeling seemed to be that it would have taken only a little more effort to get things perfectly clean.

Some bathroom doors didn’t lock

A curiously specific issue that was raised quite a number of times was that some of the shared bathrooms and shower doors did not lock, perhaps because they were broken. This made some feel uncomfortable or unsafe, thinking that others could barge in on them at any time.

Kitchen could be better supplied

A number of guests would have liked the communal kitchens to be a bit better supplied. Often mentioned was that incidental items like washing up liquid were not supplied, requiring guests to buy these themselves.
