Positive Reviews

So close to area attractions

The beach is nearby and the attractions of Perth are just short drives away. The town of Freemantle is close by with an abundance of markets, shops, and restaurants. In the opposite direction is another quaint village town with walking trails along the coast. There is also a public bus stop nearby.

A great camping spot

The campsites are well-maintained and have a lot of amenities to offer. The camp kitchen is large and the barbecue area is functional and usable. The nearby nature preserve affords a lot of quiet and relaxation and there several nature walking trails in the immediate area.

Nice cabins

The rooms and cabins are also quite nice. The amenities offered include kitchens that can provide meals and eating space for families.

Negative Reviews

Shower facilities could use some work

During cleaning times for the toilet and cleaning facilities, many restroom areas are completely shut down and you'll have to find another one in another part of the park. Since these cleaning times are during morning hours, this can be quite inconvenient and makes for lines in the other areas.

An expensive stay

The rates for the campsites are quite expensive and don't have the amenities to justify the prices. There are a lot of security measures that make for unneeded hassles, like having keys to the toilet. The Wi-Fi is practically non-existent and many spots have no shade at all.

Small and basic

Some rooms and cabins are small and offer only basic touches. There are no luxury extras and the shower temperature fluctuates wildly. Often amenities, such as the pool and games area, are often closed.
