Positive Reviews

A cost-effective Oxford location

It is a few minutes' walk to the city centre's attractions and to the railway station. There are numerous and varied restaurants in Oxford, some of which are an easy walk away. Guests who lack enthusiasm for the self-catering aspect need no encouragement to saunter across the road for coffee, drinks and meals at The Jam Factory.

Quality, informality and viability

The first thing that guests notice on entering the apartments is the clean and modern appeal which combines with the style that is warm and welcoming. Everything is of a high quality and, particularly for those guests visiting Oxford for an extended period, apartment living in these circumstances provides a home from home environment. Financially, as well, it beats the formality of hotel living into a cocked hat, as they say in these parts.

Excellent staff

Staff is great. They are very friendly and informative about places to visit in Oxford. Any problems and they are on to them immediately.

Negative Reviews

Light sleepers should beware of the ground floor

Apartments face on to what is quite a busy street. Guests who are light sleepers report significant problems because of the traffic noise. A further frustration is experienced in the ground floor accommodation. It is like living in a goldfish bowl with passers-by looking in whenever they wish.

Additional costs

There is an automatic charge which is hidden away in the paperwork, to cover cleaning costs following the guest’s departure. As arriving guests embark on cleaning crockery, cutlery and other elements of the property, they wonder how this cost can be justified. They also recommend letting the train taking the strain of getting here because the costs related to secure parking are extremely high.
