Positive Reviews

Stylish upmarket accommodation

If you're looking for luxury accommodation, these apartments could suit you down to the ground. Guests are pleasantly surprised by the high standard of the rooms. They are comfortable and busting with character - with a nice “boutique” feel. You have everything you need and all the facilities are modern and new.

Fabulous location

You couldn't be much better situated for exploring the historic centre of Oxford than here. Guests say that everything is in walking distance and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Guests also enjoy the relaxing, calm atmosphere.

Great value

Whilst the rooms are not cheap, guests would challenge you to compare the rates to city centre hotels and weigh up what you get. You will probably then realise what great value this accommodation actually offers.

Negative Reviews

Impersonal and messy check-in

Whilst being unstaffed and sending a personal entry code by phone may make this accommodation run more efficiently, it is not to everyone's liking. There are no staff available to check you in, which can be confusing and problematic, especially when the codes don't work. Guests recount having to wait a long time outside for new codes or for the owners to arrive.

No instructions

Another problem with having no staff is that there's nobody to show you how to work things. Guests feel that in this case, there at least should be some instructions left such as for the coffee machine, air-conditioning or heating.

Mobility issues

Guests reckon that the rooms could be difficult for people with mobility problems. There is no lift for a start, which means guests have to walk up two flights of stairs, and there is nowhere nearby to park either. The table and chairs are quite high too, which could be difficult for some people to manage.
