Thung Nham is located in the scoring area of Trang An landscape complex, about 5 km to the south of Tam Coc – Bich Dong tourist area and 12 km to the west of Ninh Binh city, far from residential areas and surrounded by mountains, tropical forest, many valleys, and beautiful caves. This is an area of about 300 hectares, and It is home of 46 bird species with about 50,000 individuals, popularly storks, herons, silver teals, White-rumped shamas… Many of which are recorded in Viet Nam Red Book...
