Positive Reviews

Wonderful setting

Having the Promenade des Anglais - and Nice's famed beaches - right on your doorstep is pretty special If you get the option, ask for a sea-facing room as, not only will you get to enjoy fantastic views over the sparkling blue Bay of Angels, you'll also get to indulge in that most European of pursuits – people watching - from your balcony La vie est belle.

Rooms are spacious, smart and well-appointed

It is often the case that aparthotel accommodations are a little small and/or basic This is not the case with the Adagio Nice as the studios and apartments here are modern, bright and – compared to many other mid-level accommodations in Nice – really quite spacious indeed.

Self-catering option can help save your pennies

The presence of a well equipped kitchenette (replete with refrigerator) allows you to mitigate the (often extortionate) costs of eating out every day in Nice Having a 'Carrefour' supermarket just up the road is a bonus too.

Negative Reviews

Wi-Fi is unreliable and irritating

The fact that the Wi-Fi reception throughout the hotel seems to come and go with the wind is enough in itself to make you angry However, the requirement to re-enter your password every single time you want to get back online afterwards is what really pushes you over the edge Very annoying.

Hotel is a little out of the way

Being half way between the airport and the Old Town means that you cannot just walk out the door and saunter around the Old Town Sure, there are plenty of buses and taxis around, and there is always the option of renting a bike or even walking The fact is though, this hotel is just a little further away from the action than is preferable.

Lift is a bit cosy

If you suffer with claustrophobia and see other people waiting to take the lift, do yourself a favour and head for the stairs “A bit cosy” is a nice way of saying the lift here is marginally larger than a wardrobe.
