Every detail counts in our house. Youdine in the historic dining room: "Zur Blume" with its 200-year-old wooden paneling or the so-called "Jägerzimmer", in which Meisenheimer hunters also have a regular place ... or in the "Brunnenstube", characterized by a medieval fountain. When the weather is nice, you can of course sit outside in the shady courtyard. Chairs and tables are made of local cherry wood, they look like modern design, but we designed them after an original from 1820, which we found in the inn. Modern and old art, glasses in which wine can breathe. Nice dishes, friendly and competent service ... what will be your favorite place? Behind the restaurant in medieval vaults you will find the modern bar "Zur blauen Meise" for aperitifs, digestifs, good conversations with one or the other glass of whatever. Next to it is the wine grotto and, so to speak, "grail" of the house, the wonderful wine cellar with its treasures. Our 22 hotel rooms and suites are themed rooms. Most are named after famous vineyards of the Nahe region such as " Kloster Disibodenberg ", "Goldloch", "Frühlingsplätzchen", "Kupfergrube", "Hermannshöhle", "Bastei" ... Their very individual furnishings refer to the vineyard and the prominent winemakers cultivating the vineyards and godparents of the rooms. Other rooms are reminiscent of historical personalities related to Meisenheimer history. Whether English princess or Swedish king, let yourself be surprised ... Modern comfort is a natural basis, but the very own style characterizes the experience, also in our special box seat, the room »Im Kino«. Surrounded by original accessories you will experience your very own idea. In our house there actually existed for half a century a cinema with a hall for 350 people. For the hotel guests are for example an exclusive rooftop and rest terrace and the herb garden available. Or you read the »Meisenheimer Novelle« in the armchairs of our library?
