Positive Reviews

Friendly and fun

Guests report receiving a high standard of service from the time they arrived to the time they left the inn. Staff members are waiting upon arrival and are ready to check guests in immediately, as well as help them get settled into their rooms. All staff are friendly and helpful with anything needed and they are fun-loving and light-hearted in their interactions with guests, whether it be at the bar or at reception. They are also accommodating toward special requests and are quick to deliver services outside of their regular duties.

Perfect location

According to guests, the location of this inn is perfect. It's in a relatively quiet area that is still only a short walk from the lively centre of town, where all the traditional pubs and shops are.

Negative Reviews

Staff not always around

Guests report that staff members leave the premises after a certain time in the evenings. This means that when guests want to stay out late, or leave the building after a certain hour, they may find themselves locked out and searching for someone to let them back in. Other times, the door is left open, which means anyone from the street can just walk in without staff to stop them. This raises concerns with some guests.

Rooms are in bad condition

Guests report that there are quite a few issues with the rooms, including a lack of heating and hot water in the showers. Other issues include dirty bathrooms, broken appliances, uncomfortable beds, tattered bedding, dated decor and missing amenities. In general, the rooms are run down and in need of some refurbishment.
