Negative Reviews

Rooms looking dated and tired.

The rooms have been described by many of the guests as looking quite run-down and in need of refurbishment. Old chunky pieces of furniture and bathrooms that have seen better days have prevented some guests from being completely satisfied with their stay.

Too many stairs.

The lack of a lift posed a problem for guests whose rooms were situated on the upper floors and consequently had to climb the stairs several times a day. Those who were carrying heavy luggage were offered assistance by the reception staff.

Problems with plumbing.

Some guests experienced problems when flushing the toilets as the cistern took a while to fill up, whilst others complained about having to run the tap for a long time in order to get hot water.
