Hotel Turk Evi

Türk Evi is a small guest house that lies just on the edge of the old town of Kalkan, which means a 5 minute walk down to the harbour. It takes a little longer to walk back up the hill, but assuming that you have time, just meander between the little streets with restaurants, cafes and boutiques.

The old Turkish village house was restored and an extension built to accommodate travellers since 1988. There are 9 rooms all with air-conditioning and private bathrooms and all have different characters according to taste or need. Local and traditional textiles are a part of the features of the house.

The roof-top terrace can be used at all times to chill out, or to enjoy refreshments or drinks. We serve a Turkish breakfast up on the terrace with local produce and home-made jams.

Kalkan is close to some of the most beautiful beaches and ruins, as well as being a favourite for daily boat trips, or diving and also the Lycian Way, which is another spectacular attraction for trekkers. Guide books and tips or information about the area or the country, are always available and shared.
