Positive Reviews

Top marks for convenience of location

Euro Hostel Glasgow is well-positioned in that it is within a ten-minute walk of Glasgow’s excellent nightlife and tourist attractions Also, it is very close to the train station, making it easy to get to and from Buses to the airport depart from nearby too.

Fill yourself up in the morning

The breakfast at this hostel is pretty good and very reasonably priced There is a decent selection from which to choose as well, so you should find something to satisfy you.

Two important boxes ticked

When you book budget accommodation, you can’t expect everything, but there are a couple of things that are essential, namely that the place is clean and that it is value for money This hostel delivers both of these necessities The guestrooms have a great level of cleanliness and it won’t cost you the world to stay here.

Negative Reviews

It’s hard to recharge

Smartphones have a fairly short battery life, so it’s good to be able to give it a charge at the end of the day However, power outlets are few and far between in the guestrooms A room of four beds, for instance, might share a double wall socket So, expect to fight over who gets to charge their phone or straighten their hair.

A quiet night isn’t guaranteed

While having a fairly cheap bar downstairs is convenient, it can get noisy, and the sound filters up through the hostel Shared accommodation will always leave open the possibility of being subjected to noisy guests too, of course.

Free or paying, the internet here isn’t great

As is often the case in hostels and hotels, the complimentary Wi-Fi doesn’t offer the best connectivity However, if you decide to pay for it, don’t expect it to be a whole lot better.
