Positive Reviews

Central location in Ghent

This hostel proved to be well-situated for those who wanted to make the most of their time in Ghent. Not only is it steps away from of some of the city's most famous sights - like the Ghent Altarpiece - but it is on a number of key bus and tram links.

High-spec accommodation

The sleek, modern feel of this property and its thoughtful amenities - namely en-suite kitchen facilities - left many commenting that this felt more like a hotel rather than a hostel. The large rooms and bathrooms also received many kudos.

Great value for money

Give its location, outstanding amenities and even the helpful check-in staff, many visitors felt that this hostel represented all-around excellent value for money in Ghent.

Negative Reviews

Ventilation and thin walls

While most guests reported good stays, some felt that there are a few issues that really do need to be rectified in order to improve the overall guest experience here. First and foremost, a number of visitors felt that the bathrooms really need better ventilation. Additionally, noise from neighbouring rooms as well as the street outside was a problem for quite a few guests.

Lack of 24-hour reception and no communal area

The staff are helpful and the check-in process was swift, but a number of guests were surprised to note that there is no 24-hour reception here. Additionally, some also felt that the property was lacking a communal area as found in conventional hostels.

Thin mattresses

For some, the mattresses here were uncomfortably thin. This resulted in a poor night's sleep for a number of guests and did unfortunately impact on the overall experience at this hostel.
