The Asteras Villas is situated atop the striking caldera cliffs in the town of Fira. The hotel offers majestic views over the Aegean Sea.

Lovely location.

The hotel is in a great location, you can enjoy the beautiful views of the caldera from your private balcony with no obstructions. The area is quiet and peaceful and you can easily get around the town by walking or using the local transportation.

Delicious breakfast.

The breakfast is very fresh and tasty, and the variety available will suit everyone. You can use the room service option and enjoy your breakfast on your private balcony, the room service is fast and the food i set up beautifully.

Great facilities.

The hotel has some great facilities, the hot tub is clean and perfectly positioned to offer fantastic sea views. The hotel provides you with beach towels and a bag, they will even allow you to use a laptop if you have business you need to do.

Negative Reviews

Unfriendly reception.

Some guests have reported that there was no one in sight upon arrival at the hotel, they also reported that the reception staff were not very friendly or willing to go the extra mile to make sure that they enjoyed their stay at th hotel.

Stairs.

There is a steep set of stairs carved into the side of the mountain which has to be scaled in order to get to your private room. It can be quite difficult to carry your suitcases up and down the stairs. The reception staff do not offer to help you.

Small bathroom.

The private bathrooms are rather small, the rooms general smell a bit mouldy and could do with a good cleaning. The shower stalls are small and the shower curtain does not stop water from spilling onto the floor. Some guests have also reported that their private bathroom was outside their room.
