Positive Reviews

Decent location in the Old Town

Guests were generally happy with the location of the hotel, explaining that there were many restaurants and shops of various kinds nearby. They didn’t feel they needed to travel far to meet their basic needs. Often highlighted was the Dubai Museum, which was said to be right opposite the hotel.

Breakfast was good

Guests were generally satisfied with the breakfast served here, being especially happy that the buffet had different items on rotation each day. Guests staying for a while did not get bored with having the same food every day.

Friendly, helpful staff

There is a nightclub located inside of this hotel and it plays very loud music until the early hours of the morning. It is recommended that you request a new room if you end up close to the nightclub, as the music makes it very difficult to sleep.

Negative Reviews

Poor value for money

While guests said the room rates here were not very high, they typically went on to add that they still felt they had received poor value for money. They stated that there were nearby hotels they felt offered better services and facilities and charged the same or lower rates.

Unhelpful reception staff

Guests did not think highly of the reception staff at this hotel. They reported that they were not friendly at all and seemed reluctant to help their guests out when they were approached with a question or concern

Rooms could be cleaner

A number of guests were alarmed by how unclean their rooms were when they first entered. It sees that they often had to kill cockroaches and other bugs that inhabited the rooms.
