About Fox & Hounds

Set in a picturesque Dorset village, and close to the coast, the dog-friendly Fox & Hounds Cattistock offers home-cooked meals and comfortable accommodations.

There are three letting rooms, each with a private bathroom, Wi-Fi, and fresh linen, and a kitchenette.

Fox & Hounds Cattistock maintains a garden at the rear of the pub for camping, and folk music nights are hosted regularly. There is Wi-Fi in all public areas.

Meals are home-cooked and freshly prepared. The menu changes daily, and all meat, bread, and fish are locally purchased. The bar serves ales along with a fine selection of wines.

Due north, is the village of Chantmarle featuring a house dating back to the 15th century. Also nearby is Cerne Abbas, famous for the Cerne Giant, a well endowed chalk figure dating back to Roman times. The nearby Abbotsbury Swannery is home to a colony of nesting mute swans.
