Occupying and elegant Victorian red-brick building, The Retro Bed & Breakfast offers comfortable accommodation a short distance away from the town’s historic landmarks and transport links.

Negative Reviews

Traffic noise.

The front of the house overlooks a busy road and guests whose rooms were located at the front of the building said that the noise from the street was rather intrusive.

Rooms can feel rather warm.

During warmer weather guests said that their rooms felt rather warm and stuffy and the problem was made worse by the fact that some of the windows do not open fully.

Lack of storage space.

Guests objected to the lack of chests of drawers and wardrobes in the rooms and only had clothes hooks on which to hang their clothes.
