Positive Reviews

Genuinely friendly staff

The staff and owners at this hotel are extremely friendly and have a great attitude towards their guests. Some say that you can tell that are genuinely pleased to see you which isn't always the case in hotels. The staff are also very kind and like to help all the guests.

Great selection of ales

The bar is a great place to sit back and unwind. You can enjoy a few pints of ale from the vast selection they have on offer. There's also plenty of other drinks and nibbles to keep teetotalers or even the kids happy too.

Lovely rooms

The rooms are very comfy at this hotel and guests are particularly impressed by the new room in the barn. They say that they are of a very high standard and are very spacious. Perfect for a relaxing evening after a day of walking around the local countryside.

Negative Reviews

Food not very memorable

The food that is served on the dinner menu here isn't that great and even though it's not terrible some guests feel that it could be better. If you've driven a long way to get here, then you may feel a little disappointed with your first evening meal.

No further issues reported
