Positive Reviews

Location, location, location.

Guests agree that the location could not be more convenient, whether they are staying to shop at the Bullring, attend a conference at the ICC, visit the spectacular National Sealife Centre, or all of the above.

Clean, freshly decorated rooms.

Most guests report the rooms are spotlessly clean and nicely decorated with all the basics you might expect.

The Dreamer Bed lives up to its name.

The hotel's new Dreamer Beds and their pillows are described almost across the board as "cosy" and "comfortable".

Negative Reviews

Light sleepers be warned...

Many guests in rooms closer to ground level and/or facing Moor Street had their sleep disturbed by street noise, while guests in other parts of the hotel reported an excellent night's sleep. Other guests were dismayed to find the grassy courtyard area pop

Still a bargain after all the fees for "extra" services.

Many guests feel that the small surcharges for Wi-Fi, parking, and early check-in/late check-out times add up very quickly, though the low nightly rates are widely considered to be a bargain for a clean, modern hotel in this central location.

Plan on going out for breakfast.

Very few guests are enticed by the "to-go" options the hotel offers for breakfast. However, with plenty of restaurants nearby and a Tesco's next door, you need not worry about skipping the most important meal of the day.
