The hosts are lovely.

Guests could not say enough about the hospitable and detail-oriented staff who take care of them in this family-run B&B. Guests talk about how attention to the little details seems to be the staff’s first priority. Nothing seems to be too much trouble, fr

Country home away from home.

Many describe how homey and cosy the small B&B is, and a few felt that visiting the facility was like stepping back into a gentler time. Guests review the rooms as comfortable and spotlessly clean and the common areas as cosy and welcoming. Others talk ab

Breakfast is included in the price of the room and is almost universally praised by guests who talk about the cooked-to-order, generous, British breakfast which includes a wide range of choices as well as the traditional options and home-made marmalade. G

Negative Reviews

Very remote.

Some guests seemed to think the location was a bit remote, particularly when searching for restaurants. That said, there were at least as many who also wrote about the tranquil atmosphere undisturbed by a faster pace of life.

Very few substantive complaints.

The major complaints seemed to be over minor things, like broken shower heads. Some complained that the windows did not open properly and that the rooms were stuffy.

Service can be slow.

Some guests thought that service at breakfast was too slow.
