About Coach House

Set in an 18th century building near Alnwick, Coach House provides comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting.

There are three rooms, all with country views, and some out towards the sea. All have en suite facilities with shower and free Wi-Fi, TV with DVD and tea/coffee making facilities.

Tour/ticketing assistance is available as is free parking. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas and non-smoking policy applies. Although this is a small guest house with just three guest bedrooms, the hosts, a couple, are very committed and dedicated to giving their guests a good experience of rural English life.

A full breakfast is served each morning. There are eating options in the vicinity.

Coach House is in a quiet and out-of-the-way location, but it is close to some historical places such as Alnwick Castle, Dunstanburgh Castle and Alnwick Gardens. There is much natural beauty to enjoy here.

A guest who stayed here was annoyed that her breakfast had less choice. This guest wanted fresh fruit, yogurt and a range of breads. However, she was served an excellently cooked main course.

Complaint about overpricing.

A guest complained that her room was worth only 60 pounds and she had to pay 80 pounds. The hosts answered this by saying that their guest house offered one of the cheapest accommodation tariffs in the region.
