About Diamond Hill Resort Hotel

Situated just one street back from the beach in Alanya, Diamond Hill Resort Hotel is a modern resort-style high-rise, with numerous activities and amenities on offer.

The rooms have that sleek and modern look, but with a few features to soften the lines a bit. Each features ultra-modern en-suite bathroom, private balcony, air conditioning, minibar, hairdryer, in-room safe, flat-screen TV, work desk, telephone.

For those looking for supreme relaxation, there is a tranquil spa area with extensive facilities and treatments available. The massive pool terrace is the focal point of the resort, but there are also playgrounds, a games room and a number of beach sports available as well.

There is a massive buffet restaurant on site, which has both indoor and outdoor seating available, and also a more intimate and exclusive a la carte restaurant. Both serve mainly Turkish cuisine, but plenty of international favourites are also available.

Antalya airport is 78 miles away.

Helpful and hard working staff

While there were one or two contrary opinions, most of the guests seemed to hold the staff in high regard. They were described as exceptionally helpful, seemingly never resting until a guest's issue or query had been fully dealt with.

Hotel and rooms very clean

There were quite a few issues about the hotel that guests raised, but a lack of cleanliness was generally not one of them. On the contrary, it was mentioned that rooms were very clean on check in, and tended to remain so during the course of a stay.

Great views from the rooftop bar

The rooftop bar seemed to be many guest's favourite part of the hotel. They described it as the perfect place to have drinks and watch the sunset with friends.

Negative Reviews

Quite a lot of traffic noise

The hotel is near a major road junction in Alanya. Going by guest comments it seems that the rooms are not very well soundproofed, since they speak of being able to hear the cars whizzing by at night, causing their sleep to be disturbed.

Lifts very slow

Well, perhaps it wasn't that the lifts were particularly slow, but rather that there were too few of them. But whatever the reason, guests speak about having to wait an inordinately long time for one to arrive. For some this resulted in a great deal of frustration.

Food gets a bit boring

It seems most guests were on at least half-board, and while they generally found the food quite acceptable, there was not a massive variety offered. As a result, those staying a week or more tended to get a bit bored with the food.
