Great spot for relaxing and Netherlands exploring.
Guests said the hotel’s location was great for anyone wanting to visit the beaches of the North Sea, it was just a short drive from Leiden and bus stops were also found just outside. On top of this, some of those who stayed here very happy just to enjoy the river views and relax amongst the semi-rural scenery, while the hotel was thought to be in a central location for exploring the Netherlands.

Helpful staff and shuttle, tasty food.
Those who stayed at Van der Valk Leiden were impressed with the apparently friendly staff, who assisted by offering worthwhile local recommendations and even a free shuttle to help you get into the Leiden city centre. The restaurant food was likewise thought to be of a very high standard and guests enjoyed it all the more thanks to the lovely riverside terrace.
