The Aviator Hotel Anchorage is your perfect Alaskan Adventure Base Camp, located in the heart of downtown Anchorage on world famous 4th Avenue! We are one block from many attractions, such as the World Famous Ship Creek which hosts the Annual "Ship Creek Fishing Derby," the Alaska Railroad Station which is the world famous connection to The Denali Park, home of Mt Denali (formally Mt McKinley), Anchorage Museum (which just received a 38 million dollar addition and upgrade), as well as many local restaurants, cultural centers and nightlife favorites. The 10-Day Fur Rondy event is right outside our door, including the World Championship Dog Shed Race and the start of the Iditarod, literally 15 feet from our property line. Plan at least one night dining in with our new top chef in the Aviator Café or Aviator Lounge. We have the best music venue in Anchorage, featurung local and national talent performing Blues, Jazz, and Country favorites. We also offer the only recording studio located inside a hotel, so bring your instrument and book your session in the Aviator Studio! So make the Aviator Hotel Anchorage your base camp when Anchorage is part of your next travel plans!
