Designer Sean Knibb has conceived and equipped this unique setting. The air conditioned en-suite guest rooms, with connecting rooms available on request, are furnished with king-sized beds, and equipped with super fast Wi-Fi Internet access and large flat screen LCD television. There is a mini-bar, safe, and telephone. The bathroom is provided with a hair dryer and Baxter of California bath products. The LINE Hotel Los Angeles boasts an enticing pool that is planted with citrus trees and equipped with plenty of deckchairs and sunbeds. The Line is a trendy, interestingly designed and decorated hotel that appeals especially to the young and the cool. The staff received mixed reviews, although in the main they proved to be helpful and friendly. The check-in is quick and efficient. Guests describe this establishment as being fun and arty.
Guests found the drinks in the bar and the cuisine to be highly acceptable, and both restaurants offer a memorable culinary experience. The views from the hotel, with its floor to ceiling windows, are very impressive, especially at night, and the guest rooms are clean and comfortable, with interesting furnishings and decoration.
The coffee shop is very welcoming, and the bar is a great place to be in and enjoy. The gymnasium is clean and well equipped, and the hotel has bicycles available for guests who wish to explore the area.
Car parking is expensive, and if you are staying for several days it is worth the effort to avoid paying the hotel's high charges by using local garages and street parking. The guest rooms were found to be much smaller than they appear in the hotel's publicity. The lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms is a minus.
There were reports from guests of some mistakes in the accounting process, including double billing that took some days to be rectified, there were also items charged that had not been consumed.
Cleaning of the bathrooms in particular was not as thorough as guests expected, with several mentions made of hairs being left on surfaces.
