Guests raved about the outstanding service in this family-run hotel. Staff always seemed to have a smile on their face, and kind workers really lent a laid back, unpretentious vibe to the entire hotel.

If you're looking for a place to get away from it all, this calm oasis might be just what the doctor ordered. Guests described The Library and Wellness Retreat as a hidden gem, and wanted to keep the hotel as a secret for themselves, due to the stylish room decor with modern comforts like a jacuzzi bathtub, and the grand library with fireplace and plenty of spots for guests to contemplate.

Most guests were eager to return to the restaurant for Mediterranean à la carte meals that were pleasing to the palate. The rich buffet breakfast was also a standout meal, and guests appreciated that afternoon tea and coffee was served in the truly unique library.

Several guests were disappointed to discover jacuzzis that were inoperable. A lack of hot water or broken controls meant that guests didn't get to enjoy this much anticipated room feature.

From the moment they walked through the front door, guests were enveloped with a sense of tranquillity. However, the bubble was slightly burst by persistent church bells, and an unrelenting bell from a nearby school. Other nuisances were the sometimes boisterous conversations wafting up from the outdoor courtyard.

Some guests noticed a few aspects of the hotel that needed some attention. Broken door knobs, intermittent hot water, and a range of minor repairs were noticed as an inconvenience to an otherwise pleasant stay.
