Positive Reviews
positive:
Located right in nature's own backyard.
This hotel is fortunate enough to have a 'wildlife corridor' on the sunny side of the valley where elk, coyote and deer pass by pretty much every day. If you enjoy watching animals in their natural habitat then you're likely to fall in love with this excellent observation point.
positive:
Views are sublime.
It is fair to say this hotel is privy to some truly amazing views with the town, forests and -- of course -- Banff's three iconic mountain ranges all laid out before you like a wilderness tapestry of the most epic proportions. Absolutely stunning.
positive:
Staff are very warm and friendly.
It is evident that The Juniper's small army of workers really enjoy working in this hotel as they all seem to bubble over with infectious degrees of enthusiasm and positivity. This helps to make the hotel as a whole feel even more warm and inviting.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Town is a little far away.
The town of Banff is just a little too far away to be within comfortable walking distance (around 20-25 minutes strolling time). That being said, the complementary shuttle bus service does the journey in less than ten minutes and runs 7-8 times a day.
negative:
There's no elevator.
Something to keep in mind if you're traveling with lots of luggage and are likely to arrive late..
negative:
But that's about it..
Even with the above issues highlighted, it is generally the case that the vast majority of visitors to The Juniper enjoy largely positive vacation experiences.
