The Cascades Hotel at Sun City (Sun-City, South Africa)

The spectacular views surrounding Cascades are visible from the guest rooms and most other areas around the property.  Guests also reported that the peaceful sounds of birds chirping and the sound of a waterfall can be heard around the hotel and these two things combined make for a very relaxing experience.

The breakfast served each morning is amazing with many fresh, expertly-prepared, delicious items to choose from.  Guests also reported that the service in the restaurant is excellent and the option to eat on the beautiful terrace is available on nice days.

Some guests reported that there is some noise around the hotel at times and it comes from loud fans and air conditioning units, guests partying in nearby rooms and the sound of conversations, footsteps and doors opening and closing in the corridors.

Guests reported that check-in at Cascades is slow and inefficient.  The staff require some extra training in dealing with guests because they are unresponsive to issues, they have trouble dealing with bookings, they seem uncaring towards guests concerns and they are very slow at delivering any services.

Guests reported some issues with the guest rooms including chipping paint on walls and doors, malfunctioning air conditioning units, damp carpet, old and tattered furniture and basic amenities that hardly work properly.
