Suites of the Gods Cave Spa Hotel (Megalochori, Greece)

Guests say that the Suites of The Gods in Megalochori, Greece, is a beautiful hotel with spectacular views, lovely rooms and an amazing spa area. Some guests say that they are spoilt by the facilities of the hotel so much that they are afraid they will never be able to stay anywhere else.

Most guests say that they begin to enjoy their stay at the hotel from the very first moment. They are greeted warmly by the friendly reception staff. The views are incredible and guests recommend a trip to the voulcano Nea Kamenu and Oia town. The spa experience is awesome and that it is inside a cave creates an amazing atmosphere loved by guests.

The suites are comfortable. Guests say they find the massage armchair in the rooms very relaxing. They love the romantic hot tub near the beds and the views which they say are something to die for. The breakfast is delivered to the rooms which guests find delicious.

Most guests say that while the hotel is lovely for a summer getaway, it is rather dull in winters. The spa is closed and the hotel does not have any facilities during the day or evening. There are also no restaurants or bars nearby and the area is very isolated in the evenings.

Some guests say that the pictures on the hotel's brochure are misleading. The hotel is made to look new but it is certainly dated. Tiles are old and cracked, ceilings have mould and cushions and towels are old and rough on the skin.

A few guests say that the food at the restaurant is expensive and tastes disgusting. They found the pool and spa areas littered with cigarette butts and even broken glass.
