Spilia Village is a beautiful traditional hotel, with a luxury touch, though the intense charm of a bygone era. Located into a green plain amongst citrus orchards and olives groves, in the center of a pure Cretan village, that has kept intact many traditional architectural elements over 4 centuries. The philosophy is the restoration and maintenance of old builds, in order to save them from the ravages of time and their emergence through harmonic interferences. Always respecting the Architecture and the environment. The Main building of the hotel, which comprises the reception area and the breakfast restaurant is contained in a part of the building which was previously a factory and later an olive oil processing plant of which the millstones can still be seen decorating part of the building. Spilia Village is situated ideally close to all unique attractions of Western Crete (Balos, Gramvousa, Elafonisi, Falassarna etc) and also very close to the magnificent town of Chania, Platanias and Kolymbari. The hotel comprises of 30 stone built rooms each uniquely decorated, standard and Superior Doubles, Suites, Superior Suites of 2 or 3 bedrooms, family rooms, maisonettes and Villas.
