About Sutera Sanctuary Lodges At Manukan Island

Sudley House is a country house in Liverpool. It was the former family home of the Holt family. George Holt made his money in the Shipping Industry and founded the Liverpool shipping line Lamport and Holt. This house was built in the early 1800s and is surrounded by historic gardens and parkland. Sudley House was bequeathed to the City of Liverpool by Holt's daughter Emma in1944, together with the family's collection of furniture, paintings and other artefacts. It is now a Museum and has recently undergone a £1 million (€1.5 million) refurbishment. It is free to visit and is open from 10am until 5pm daily.
