The Redcliffe Hotel is ideally located in the centre of Inverness. The nearby Eastgate Shopping Centre is home to many well-known high street stores and guests report finding plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Transport links are also easily accessible on foot - the railway and bus stations are a short walk away and offer services to Loch Ness, Aberdeen and beyond.

The members of staff here receive praise for the good standard of service they provide. They are friendly, approachable and keen to help in any way they can.

Guests enjoy the complimentary breakfast they receive at this hotel. According to feedback, there's a wide range of choices such as porridge, a Full Scottish Breakfast and various cereals amongst other delicious items. The food is well-cooked, plentiful and satisfying.

A few guests reported being disappointed with the size of their rooms. It seems that some of the rooms located in the basement are particularly small and suffer from either being too hot or too cold depending on the time of the year. The views from these rooms are also limited.

Several guests feel that this hotel would greatly benefit from renovation and redecoration. The décor in the rooms and public spaces is starting to look tired and some of the fixtures and fitting in the en-suite bathrooms are temperamental or in need of replacement.

A few of the rooms suffer from noise disturbance, especially those close to the hotel's kitchen and bar area.
