Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent rooms.
Guest reviews indicate that you’ll find the rooms in the Premier Inn Dover East are in excellent shape. Aside from being spotlessly clean and offering a reasonable amount of space, the rooms are well laid out and include a decent selection of handy amenities.
positive:
Good location for the port.
This hotel is a popular choice for guests departing from the port or Eurotunnel. It places you conveniently close to these onward travel facilities and staff are more than happy to help you arrange early morning taxis if needed.
positive:
Wonderful service.
Staff offer a warm and genuinely friendly welcome to the hotel and area. Guests are often very complimentary about the standard of customer service offered at the Premier Inn Dover East and it does seem that the team are one of the property’s highlights.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Rooms can get too hot.
Although guests describe the rooms as of excellent quality, it does seem that the lack of air-conditioning can be a problem. You’ll want to open the window to cool down the temperature but this subjects you to noise from the road.
negative:
The restaurant could be closer.
Although the hotel has a restaurant, the term “on-site” could be a little misleading. Some guests didn't like having to walk the fair distance to the restaurant for breakfast and claim that a sign post and a pedestrian path would be useful.
negative:
Occasional niggles.
The majority of reviews of the Premier Inn Dover East are exceptionally favourable but guests do have occasional niggles. An extra chair and a few more towels in the room wouldn't go amiss. Plus, the provisions on the hospitality trays could be a little more generous.
