The front desk, security, and housekeeping staff are frequently described as highly professional and courteous. Guests note that they are welcomed warmly and checked in efficiently at any hour, and that the team is pleased to provide maps, directions, and suggestions regarding area attractions. The free shuttle to the Marina Mall and Abu Dhabi Mall is very well appreciated.

Though the building is older, the rooms have been refurbished and most guests describe them as very clean, modern, and comfortable. The rooftop pool is large and deep enough for a relaxing swim, though it is shaded by the nearby tall buildings after lunch. However, there's plenty of sun at the Corniche and it's within walking distance.

Accommodations in Abu Dhabi can be expensive, but guests generally feel they are getting "very good value for money" given the hotel's prime location and large, well maintained rooms. The wide variety of restaurants on site receive many rave reviews, as does the live music in the hotel bars.

Several guests have commented that by evening, it becomes obvious that the hotel is located in a red light district. There's a night club next door and sometimes the crowd out front can be a bit noisy. A few guests have been approached by professionals in the lobby or bar.

Some guests were disappointed to find there is no valet parking, or parking on site at all. There is public parking just across the street.

Though many guests find the Wi-Fi fast and reliable, a few unlucky travellers have reported the opposite. Some have found the air conditioning a bit noisy as well.
