About Hotel Le Chablis Cadillac
Situated in the city’s north-east quadrant, Le Chablis is a thoroughly modern hotel offering contemporary accommodations.
The rooms are the very picture of sleek and modern. But they not only look stylish, they have all the amenities you’ll need for a great city break as well.
Motorists will be very pleased to hear that onsite parking is plentiful and completely free of charge, while techies (and others) will rejoice at the news of the free Wi-Fi, accessible throughout the property.
A simple continental breakfast is served every morning and can be enjoyed in the breakfast room or in the privacy of your own room. There are a couple of good restaurants and cafés nearby. Reception staff can offer dining recommendations if required.
Once guests have exhausted the local attractions of the Olympic Stadium precinct, they might want to venture into downtown Montreal, which is seven miles to the south of Le Chablis and easily reached by fast metro.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Pictures extremely deceptive
A number of guests mentioned that the pictures to be found on the web did not represent the way their room looked at the time they visited, but was rather what renovated rooms looked liked. It seems that many rooms had not yet been renovated and those allocated one of these felt as if they had been duped.
negative:
Very poor breakfast area
While the reviews of the breakfast itself were mixed, guests were unanimous that the dining area itself was “a joke”. Several mentioned that there was, quite literally, nowhere to sit, with only counters, where one has to stand, available. Guests were confused, astonished and certainly not at all impressed with the arrangements.
negative:
Very poor Wi-Fi
A simply incredible number of guests, travelling at various times, reported that the Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable. It seems like there is some sort of problem with the system that had not been corrected over a period of many months.
