This hotel restaurant serves great full Scottish breakfasts and wonderful steaks for dinner, which are highly recommended. The hotel is in a beautiful location with great views, which are found to be quite spectacular by the guests.

It has been mentioned that the rooms here could do with a touch of refurbishment in order to help maintain the hotel’s high standard. The hotel gives great hospitality, but some rooms definitely need updating and brightening up.

If paying by card, the guest has to pay an additional charge of two GBP per transaction. This is a source of annoyance, because it is as if guests are being penalised for paying by card, when doing so is a modern trend and infinitely preferable to carrying cash.

Many of the staff here are not British and do not speak the English language well. As a result, the English-speaking guests have a problem making their requests and needs understood by the staff. This is a bit frustrating when you are visiting a hotel in an English-speaking country, not a problem which one would expect to face. There are also complaints that the car park is rather small for a hotel of this size.
