The lobby is really cosy and inviting with a big fireplace and comfortable seating. Staff are very efficient and demonstrate a high level of customer service.

Nearly every review received about this hotel uses the word “luxurious”, with every guests feeling that whether you are travelling for business or pleasure you will be impressed by the quality of the rooms and the overall feel of the hotel.

The accommodation is charming with a mixture of traditional and classic touches with modern amenities. There are pieces of art and sculptures around the hotel and it is worth taking a wander around the building to investigate these. If you're after accommodation for a long stay then this could be the perfect option due to the rooms including kitchen facilities.

There are perhaps a few little niggles that could be improved by the hotel, for example real milk needed to make tea and coffee instead of sachets, and more pillows needed to improve sleep. Guests who have raised any issues feel that the staff have responded immediately and successfully rectified the situation. Some guests have also found the televisions to be unreliable.

Some guests have felt it strange that in a hotel of this quality there is no bath, just a shower, and feel this is something that should be remedied.

Although guests widely praise the staff for their efficiency some have commented on their lack of empathy, courtesy and ability to build guest relations. Their customer service is professional but rather lacking in warmth.
