Leopold Hotel

The Leopold Hotel in Sheffield is one of only 3 hotels in the city centre with a 4 star rating. It is housed within a former Victorian school building that is a Grade 2 listed building. It opened in June 2007 as Sheffield's first city centre boutique hotel and is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World group. There are 90 individually designed, air-conditioned rooms. These rooms are equipped with all of the standard amenities that one would expect to find in a hotel of this class. Wifi is available in all rooms for an additional fee and some of the rooms have been adapted to suit guests with disabilities. The hotel has its own restaurant and bar and a reception that operates around the clock. Services provided include express check-in/out, laundry services, currency exchange and room service. For business travellers there are 5 fully equipped conference/meeting rooms. The Leopold Hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of the city centre in an area that is well served by public transport (buses and trams) and there is a taxi rank outside, but there is no car park.
