Kyle Hotel ‘A Bespoke Hotel’ (Kyle of Lochalsh, United Kingdom)

This hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the local train station which is the last stop before the Isle of Skye. It's good for a night to recharge your batteries before heading on towards the island itself.

The rooms in the hotel are getting a bit old, but the staff do their best to keep them in spotless condition. If you value cleanliness over style, then you'll find this place a perfect base for a night or two.

This place is by no means a Michelin Star restaurant but the meals that they serve are very well prepared with quite a few options. Guests find the portions large enough and the food to be reasonably priced.

This place is in dire need of an update as all the rooms, and the public spaces are starting to look the worse for wear. There are more than a few areas where you can see obvious signs of wear and tear and guests feel that it's good only for a night.

This is one of the closest hotels to the last stop on the railway line and perhaps this is why it has high prices that don't reflect the state of the hotel. Some guests feel that there are much better deals available in other hotels in the area.

The hotel seems like a very down on its luck kind of place, and there is rarely a crowd in the bar. It fails to live up to the lively reputation of Scottish hotels and bars which is a bit of a letdown for guests.
