Throughout the hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful, thus ensuring a hassle free stay for guests.

Hotel food generally, isn’t known for any particularly high quality but, here, restaurant meals are excellent and obviously crammed with lots of fresh local ingredients. Meals are also of exceptional value.

Front facing rooms may suffer a bit noise wise. Those overlooking the very pleasant courtyard tend to be much quieter.

Room cleaning is a bit haphazard and probably hurried. The result is that areas are missed by the cleaning staff ... but not by the incoming guest! On the topic of rooms; they can be rather small, plus, taller people will confirm, so are the beds!

Furnishings and decorations have fulfilled their roles and are now in need of replacement. Maintenance is also below the acceptable, particularly in en-suite bathroom areas. Towels just need to be thrown away and replaced.

When there are groups staying there is a tendency for them to leave bedroom doors open and lead a commune type existence. OK for them but a bit disconcerting for non group guests.
