Bondeheimen has an excellent city central location, especially ideal for shoppers as it is close to the Karl Johans shopping street. Most guests found the hotel as an excellent base point for exploring the city. Many even add that using public transportation was completely unnecessary during their trip, as the area is perfect for walking, and nothing was located too far from the hotel.

Don't miss out on dining at the hotel restaurant, Kaffistova, which specializes in traditional Norwegian cuisine. Guests said that everything from breakfast to dinner to the complimentary evening soup, was always tasty and fresh. The breakfast especially is complimented on its variety of both hot and cold dishes and the abundance of fresh fruit. In addition, the hotel also serves complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby all day.

From amiable staff to satisfying accommodations, Bondeheimen doesn't disappoint. Guests were not only pleased with the quality of service, but also the quality of their rooms. The accommodations are described as spacious, clean, modern and well-equipped, and the beds are deemed comfortable.

The area around the hotel has a wide variety of restaurants and bars and is quite popular, especially on the weekends. If you're planning on going to bed early, you may want to bring along some earplugs just in case, and request a quiet room at check-in.

Many guests, especially those travelling solo, were a bit disappointed that the hotel did not have any public social areas, like a lobby lounge or a bar.

Some guests encountered problems when connecting to or using the Wi-Fi, however, most guests didn't have any complaints.
