Positive Reviews
positive:
Exceptional staff members cover over any cracks.
Staff members are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. It must be something in the air! Their combined input works magic and any irritating imperfections are shunted well to the back of your mind. Just as it should be!
positive:
All singing and dancing.
There's plenty happening here and there always seems to be some kind of function taking place. It all adds to the ‘buzz' as do the entertainment and dance nights that are put on throughout the year. Christmas and NY are tremendous fun and super value. These events apart; whenever there is an event here, the staff swing into action and everything runs like a well oiled machine.
positive:
Food can't be faulted.
Starting with an excellent breakfast, the trend continues through to lunch and dinner. There are great choices to ponder over and the prices aren't extortionate. The bar, too, is very well stocked with plenty of choice and the prices are such that you don't feel that you are being ‘ripped off'.
Negative Reviews
negative:
It's OK … ‘barring' the noise.
There's always something going on + it's good that people enjoy themselves. If, though, you're after an early night, beware of the deafening noise from the bar! Think ahead and book a room well away from the revelry!
negative:
Service? ... It's more like a requiem
With everything else firing on all cylinders, it's a pity that the thing you remember is the poor service in the bar and restaurant. Very slow with staff unsure of their role. It's a shame and something of a surprise when other aspects are so finely tuned.
negative:
The old Wi-Fi problem.
The signal isn't good. Must be very frustrating for those attending conferences and meetings.
