Positive Reviews
positive:
Great breakfast; central location
The
breakfast buffet exceeded the expectations of guests with its spread of scrambled
and hard boiled eggs, bacon, cold cut, cheese, croissant, sausages and sweet
cake. Breakfast takeaway is available for guests in a hurry. The train terminal
and many of the tourist attractions were only a few minutes' walk, to guests'
delight.
positive:
Professional staff and good value for money
The
politeness and concern of the staff was much appreciated by guests. They were
very prompt and ever ready to help. Guidance on the local tourist attractions by
the reception staff came as a pleasant surprise for most of the guests. The
hotel has all the basic amenities for a comfortable stay in an expensive city
like Rome.
positive:
Good restaurants close by
There are many restaurants close to the hotel say guests. An Italian restaurant ‘Pasta Love' just across the street served great pasta. Mr. Chow is a good Chinese restaurant close by.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Unreliable Wi-Fi and noisy street
Most
the guests felt that the Wi-Fi was very slow and kept disconnecting, which
proved to be very irritating. The street in which the hotel is located was very
noisy, especially at night because of parties going on in the nearby hotel.
negative:
Rooms need refurbishments; thin room walls
Even
though the rooms were clean, many guests felt that the rooms were outdated and
required a change in the decor. Room walls were so thin that guests could hear
people from the adjacent rooms talking and flushing the toilets.
negative:
Hard mattresses; Spanish TV channels
Many guests felt that the mattresses were very hard and they could feel the metal wired underneath, which did not allow a good night's restful sleep. The satellite TV had only two English channels and the rest in Spanish.
