The location of this hotel has proved popular with previous guests. There is a little traffic noise to contend with but that's pretty much par for the course in the capital. On the plus side, the hotel is within easy reach of shopping, dining, and attractions.
There's nothing particularly fancy about the rooms here but guests tend to find they are of a good standard for budget-friendly accommodation. The surroundings are clean, the beds are comfortable, and you'll have all the essentials close at hand.
Guests have tended to be impressed by the standard of service offered at this hotel and have consistently described the staff as being friendly and helpful. The staff is happy to answer any questions and is often said to go above and beyond to assist guests.
While very few guests have found the cost of extended Wi-Fi access prohibitive, the same cannot be said of parking in the area. As the hotel doesn't have its own car park, you'll need to use a public facility and, unfortunately, the associated fees are rarely considered low.
Previous guests haven't been all that impressed with the lack of a proper breakfast and have often elaborated further by describing the breakfast boxes as bland and over priced. That said, there are many dining spots in the nearby Cannon Street (three minutes away on foot).
Construction is taking place in an area near the hotel and has proved disturbing to guests. The work appears to be taking place seven days a week from early in the morning - and is planned to continue until the end of 2016.
