positive:
Ideal Geography
This is a perfect location for popular sites of the area. Within walking distance to downtown Kalispell and the mall (about ten minutes), and a short ride to Glacier Park. The complimentary self-serve breakfast is decent with good, hot coffee promptly in place. Renovations are apparently taking place over time, which will be a welcome upgrade to a decent older venue. A great value for the money.

Extra Fees & Oddities
Get clarity on any extra fees for in-room provisions, such as safes, prior to booking. Free Wi-Fi offered is hit or miss, and mostly miss. The password staff will write down for you may not work to log you in. There's no elevator, so plan to carry your bags upstairs if needed. Do note: if you use the hot tub, be cautious of the slippery floor.
negative:
A Bit of Noise
The hotel does sit adjacent to a major road, so passing traffic is noisy most of the time. When that isn't keeping light sleepers awake, the fridge and air conditioning are sure to kick in. Bring your earplugs.
negative:
Smells & Such
The older rooms may have a musty smell and some feel it originates with the air conditioning or ventilation system. Others retain the stale odor of cigarette smoke, even when reserved as "non-smoking" units. Towels appear stained and have holes in them. Small bugs have been seen late at night in some units and pillows are in poor condition. Call on staff to rectify these issues.
