Tony Resort is a three-star resort hotel with 102 rooms situated on the Patong Beach, Thailand. It is at a distance of less than a mile from Jungceylon Shopping Mall. All the rooms come with a Thai decor and are equipped with flat screen televisions, air conditioner, minibar, refrigerator, working desk, complimentary bottles water and telephone. Bathrooms are provided with bathtub, shower, free toiletries and hair dryer. Connecting/adjoining rooms are also available. Suites feature sitting areas and tea/coffee making facilities. Wi-Fi and onsite parking are complimentary. There is a terrace, sun terrace and outdoor pool. Guests loved the large rooms and the balcony overlooking the pools. They are kept spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The rooms in the front have bigger balconies that overlook a small market. Air conditioner was in a good working condition and not noisy, much to the relief of many guests.
The central location of the hotel is very convenient for the guests. It is close to the beaches, markets, food outlets, markets and shopping centres. The Patong Beach and Bangla Road is ten minutes' walk from the hotel. Phuket Town is a 20 minutes' drive.
The spread of full English breakfast was liked by majority of the guests. It included fruit, yoghurt, pastries, salads, omelette, and boiled, fried and scrambled eggs. Guests loved the service rendered by the hotel staff. They were very enthusiastic and willing to assist the guests with any of their concerns. As per some guests, they were quite informative and helped the guests plan their trip itinerary.
The Wi-Fi connection was very bad according to many guests, which did not allow them to work online.
Few guests found black mould growing all over the tiles in the bathroom as if it had not been scrubbed for years together. The shower fixtures were very old and outdated. Shower curtains were very dirty.
Some guests felt that the beds were very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. They would have preferred softer beds and pillows.
