    Picturesquely located along the Göta River, 40 km from Gothenburg, this grand manor house from 1892 is family owned. It offers free Wi-Fi, outdoor hot tubs and a restaurant with a private wine cellar. Set in different buildings, Thorskogs Slott rooms are all individually decorated with tasteful décor and furnishings. Each has its own bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and bathrobes. The spacious surrounding green park includes a herb garden and a pitch and putt golf course. Guests can enjoy a shared computer, fireplace lounge, sauna, as well as billiards and darts in the bar. Area activities include swimming in nearby lakes and hiking in the Svartedalen Nature Reserve. Uddevalla and Trollhättan are both within 45 minutes’ drive. If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform Thorskogs Slott in advance. Please note that dinner needs to be booked in advance.
