The Sycamore Inn is a family run business situated in the beautiful Peak District. Set in 3 acres of woodland with ‘The Sett river’ running alongside, providing beautiful views across the valley, The Sycamore Inn is a great base for exploring the High Peak. We are perfectly located for walkers and cyclists alike with the Set Valley Trail and Pennine Bridleway right on our doorstep, with many attractions nearby such as Lyme Park, Chatsworth house, Go Ape Buxton, The Torrs, Millennium Walkway, Blue Johns Cavern and mine, we are the perfect location for all. Birch Vale is a quiet rural village in the heart of the Peak district between nearby town New Mills and the quaint village of Hayfield. We are within easy reach of Buxton, Manchester and Sheffield and have a bus stop right outside the front door and fantastic train links from New Mills. At The Sycamore Inn we pride ourselves on good quality home cooked food, a good selection of draft and bottled lagers,beers and real ales, a selection of wines and spirits. 2 log fires provide a cosy atmosphere where you can relax and unwind. We have 5 en-suite rooms all with comfortable beds and cosy bedding our breakfast is locally sourced.
